Chief Risk Officer
Jacob ‘Jake’ Rossof is the Chief Risk Officer. Mr. Rossof has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry and has been involved with Kettera Strategies from its earliest days. Prior to joining Kettera Strategies, his career focused on bridging the gap between alternative investments and risk management. Mr. Rossof was an allocator to alternative investments as an Investment Manager at Man Investments and Co-Founder of Guidance Capital (subsequently acquired by William Blair & Company L.L.C.). Mr. Rossof was the Director of Risk Management and Finance at Silveus Financial where he started a structured products desk, led the development of their asset management capabilities, and worked with the firm’s top clients to develop hedges for their operating businesses. Earlier in his career, he held positions in investment management and consulting at various firms including Origami Capital, Morgan Stanley, Ennis, Knupp & Associates, and The John Nuveen Company. Mr. Rossof holds both a BA and MA in Economics from Boston University. Additionally, he has completed all of the coursework for a MS in Applied Mathematics from DePaul University, Chicago. Jake holds the CFA®, FRM, PRM designations.
